Job Description
Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Quality System Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Cd. Juarez facility. The Quality System Engineer is responsible for support and leadership on Quality, product integrity and continuous improvement processes and systems aimed at achieving customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System that documents the processes, procedures and responsibilities to achieve quality policies and objectives, in addition to defining and leading process improvement projects in order to improve plant's indicators. Some activities related with the position will be: Coordinate, deploy, support and maintain the Eaton Quality Management System in the organization by leading cross-functional teams in order to achieve operational excellence. Coordinate, deploy, support and maintain the implementation of LPA process in the organization Coordinate and lead internal audits for ISO 9001 standards compliance Coordinate and lead external audits for ISO 9001 standards compliance Coordinate and lead audits for UL standards compliance Coordinate and direct the organization’s activities to meet customer and regulatory requirements and improve its effectiveness and efficiency on a continuous basis. Ensure process discipline, identify risks and opportunities, take necessary actions, quickly address issues, and achieve desired levels of efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure data integrity by recording all changes and signatures compliance with requirements. Provides quality performance trend analysis and reports key quality and product integrity metrics. Provide insight and feedback related to product performance to the Manufacturing Engineering and Product Engineering groups. Manages the Warranty procedures, systems and policies within the CRDS RWD Business Unit. Participates in the deployment and support of the EHS system. Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions on opportunities identified at the internal assessment, quality ISO 9001 audits and monthly performance operation review #LI-SL4 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Engineering, business administration or other science Minimum experience of 3-5 years in similar positions Knowledge in the interpretation of ISO 9000 and 14000 standards 80% English (spoken and written) Knowledge and experience with manufacturing processes Project Management Knowledge Preferred Qualifications: Preferable: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Strong computer applications skills; experience on analytical software tools (ie.
