Job Description

Join the Intel Quality Systems group in the Corporate Quality Network to drive quality system robustness. In this role, you will assist the various business group to meet the industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and drive continual improvement in the Quality Management System to support the IFS business ramping.

Perform QMS gap analysis or utilize the auditing method to identify process or system gaps in the various functional group. Lead or assist cross-functional in the implementation and execution of a quality management system as defined by corporate requirements, international standards, customer requirements, and any other pertinent requirements. Provide technical quality system consultation to the various business groups to establish and sustain a robust quality management system (technical development, engineering, support groups, manufacturing, supply chain). Identify and lead Quality continuous improvement projects especially as they pertain to new market deliverables.  Assist or lead the creation of quality systems documentation, collateral, and training materials where required.  Interface with customers and 3rd-party auditors during site visits and audits. Serves as a factory liaison to help address issues of concern to customers during factory visits. Collaborate with Program Managers on New Market program requirements, audits, and management reviews. Create and communicate a formal presentation of project work and recommendations to business leaders/management and provides the project status update. Conduct reviews at relevant project milestones and ensure all the requirements are properly fulfilled and deliverables are completed or are on track.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Program Management experience.
  • Product Development or Manufacturing experience.
  • Quality Systems experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure with specific manufacturing quality systems: ISO9001 and/ or IATF16949.
  • Experience in implementing technical quality requirements in a high-volume manufacturing facility would be desirable.
  • Experience in auditing exposure with quality management system standards, customer-specific, regulatory and/or governmental requirements.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
