Our location in Pleasanton, CA has an opening for Quality Systems Training Specialist I is responsible for helping manage training activities and administration, in order to comply to quality procedural requirements and medical device regulations.

What you will do:

  • Complete training department functional responsibilities, i.e. compliance to training requirements, set up of training plans, change order training verification, periodic reviews, train-the-trainer within the department, and many others.
  • Client Administration role of the LMS training systems and databases, which include executing training requests, troubleshooting issues, and engaging with cross-functional teams on training requirements.
  • Assist in the identification of training needs of employees and setting up of training requirements.
  • Assist in the generation of monthly training reports (tracking of delinquencies and data extract for Quarterly Management Review Metrics).
  • Compile data and report on established training execution/compliance metrics for management reporting.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Respond training documentation requests.

Qualifications:

  • AA Degree / BA/BS Degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in a document, training, or quality assurance administration position, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Experience and knowledge in Quality Systems, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS) Training software systems.
  • Ability to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision and work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Strong command of the English Language (written, reading, and oral skills) to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Proficient in MS Office Software tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to enter data and information into multiple business systems (LMS Systems, PLM, ERP)
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to contribute to a department or cross-functional problem-solving team
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
