Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Quality Technician on 12 Hr. Day shift to join our team. This position is based at our La Grange, NC facility. Position Criteria: Support Quality Department personnel by processing quality department documentation, updating and maintaining data, gauge calibration, and conducting studies and testing as requested. In this function you will: Apply corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis and control of nonconforming material. Use Gagetrak software and complete detailed, accurate measurements of calibrated gages. Review and file raw material certificates of analysis and maintain the SAP system for incoming raw material acceptance. Assist with all aspects of PPAP’s including capability studies, GR&R’s, data analysis, and all other documentation. Assist with Quality Lab testing as needed. Collect and ship raw material samples as needed. Conduct process audits as assigned. Complete electrical testing. Quarantine non-conforming material and create non-conforming material tag. Create quality notifications in SAP. Track closure of quality holds in SAP. Block stock/quality hold Must be capable of using various measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, micro-vue and CMM. When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. #LI-LD1 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required Minimum Three years' experience as a quality technician in manufacturing and/ or an Associate's degree in quality or manufacturing Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship Must be able to interpret blueprints and specifications and standards such as Underwriters Laboratory/Canadian Standards Association No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of La Grange, NC will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
