Position Overview: The Quality Technician will be primarily responsible for validation and production inspections of all products produced from manufacturing and assembly processes, proper use and maintenance of measurement tools and equipment. In this role you will: Perform incoming receiving inspection Measure parts to ensure that they are within specifications using Calipers, Micrometers, and Comparators Perform random quality audits Notify Product manager and others of quality issues Maintain QC hold room, monitor status with the intent of timely disposition with other QC personnel Ensure that other employees are aware of proper quality inspection activities Adhere to all company guidelines and any additional responsibilities deemed by management. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Equivalent Minimum of 1 year experience in Quality Control Ability to read & interpret Blueprints Basic knowledge of GD&T Use of Calipers, Micrometers, Comparators Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing environment experience Intermediate skill in Office Suite Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills Knowledge of Micro-vu’ OGP and Keyence Vision inspection equipment Position Criteria: Employee required to lift to 40lbs Noise level in plant is moderate, hearing protection is required in posted areas Safety glasses and steel toed boots are required Ability to comply with all safety protocols We provide benefits that are industry competitive and focused on employee well-being.
