Eaton’s Power Systems Division is seeking a Quality Test System Technician to join our team on 1st shift! The hourly rate starts at $26.25/hr, depending on experience. The core hours are 7 am – 3 pm. In this function, you will: Lead the test team in executing new tests and Relay Testing methods Implement and debug new test process with support from engineering Implement hardware and test program (software) modifications to the systems as appropriate Review existing test setups/execution for process, efficiency and quality improvements. Implement semi-automated testing in designated areas as needed. Create new test documentation (work instructions, pass / fail test reports). Evaluate existing test documentation for changes and enhancements. Monitor test processes data and trends. Perform routine maintenance and monthly check out on the systems and test equipment. Lead Calibration System in the plant. Test products in the plant (25 to 50 percent of time) or as needed. Assist in EQMS internal audits, lead internal special processes and common processes audit. Assist in driving quality improvement in production manufacturing setting. Support production personnel on test related issues/ data collection issues, etc. Qualifications Basic (Required) Qualifications: Associate degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution OR equivalent of 3 years of experience in electronics or electrical testing. Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience that includes electrical testing, inspection, and assembly. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Yellow, Green Belt or Six Sigma trained Transformer assembly experience or equivalent experience in electronics assembly, HVAC or variable frequency drives assembly.
