Responsibilities:

1.In the capacity as QS and based on design brief, prepare budget cost, compile all budget cost including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and other costs in the form of direct and indirect cost;

2.Prepare all aspects of stage 1 & 2 reports including stage 1 report, price schedule, questionnaire, tender assessment report, with particular emphasis on the budget costs of mechanical & electrical part;

3.Review the budget cost of mechanical &electrical services for variations and schedules of costs submitted by contractors on on-going projects; Prepare variation assessment report;

4.Develop and improve central cost database to provide a valuable source of raw data and to ensure maximum correlation between cost estimates and budget;

5.Attend site as required for the purposes of verifying contractors’ progress and quality and for assistance in solving site-based budget cost questions;

6.Provide general budget cost advice and support to SIP staff and clients as required.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor or higher degree;

2.More than 3 years relevant experience, experience in construction outside China is preferred;

Working knowledge of relevant China codes/regulation, familiarity with some international code is preferred;

Working knowledge of the design & specification of QS services;

3.Good command in English language, both spoken and written;

4. A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
