Job duties:

• Plan and conduct, or direct engineering personnel performing complex engineering analyses research findings or others researching related technological areas
• Take preliminary analysis of target technology areas
• Be responsible for conducting R&D activities, such as literature review, studying and summarizing research findings and the development of prototypes
• Proof of concept exercises with either proprietary or open source tech deeded appropriate 
• Application of research findings to a plan and design for producing and introducing new systems 
• Prototype testing, modification and optimization
• Apply Python/ SPSS to help with technological research and analysis
• Assist in AI system interface design and product programming

Requirements:

• Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (including top-up Bachelor’s degree), a Master’s degree or a Doctor’s degree awarded by a local university, or jointly awarded by a local university together with a non-local university
• STEM-related major, Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information System and Data Analytics, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering and Sustainability or equivalent would be an advantage
• Working experience in application support, maintenance and application programming and hands-on experience in .NET Framework, Visual Studio, Web Services, PL/SQL
• Working with UI/UX, Oracle and/or SQL Server and GIS would be an advantage
• Working experience in software house or research studies would be an advantage
• Strong teamwork capabilities
• Able to work independently, self-motivated and well-organized
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of written & spoken English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
