Role:

• The lab senior technician will work in the analytical lab of Asia R&D and execute analytical testing of Beverage/Nutrition forensics, Flavor QC and core/complex analysis to support Snacks APAC R&D. The role will be pure analytical role to support innovation projects of cross categories including Beverage, Snacks and Nutrition.

Accountabilities:

• Implement Beverage/Nutrition forensics testing to support GZ PGCS in collaboration of GZ MS team
• Conduct GC chart analysis of new flavor testing to support flavor development for GCR/APAC Beverage innovation projects
• Deliver flavor control to GZ PGCS plant and establish the range of key peaks for compliance of flavor QC.
• Execute core simple/core complex analysis to support Snacks innovation projects of APAC e.g. moisture, salt, oil, TA, RVA etc.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation: forensics LIMS for forensics work and StarLIMS for flavor analysis, WinLIMS for core simple analysis and ELN for core complex analysis.
• Collaborate with GZ MS, GZ PGCS as one team and maintenance the communication
• Communicate with contract laboratories for analytical outsourcing if needed.
• Undertake lab admin work e.g. lab consumable/chemical purchase, safety, payment follow-up

Measurements:

• Qualified for Beverages/Nutrition forensics testing and pass the examination
• Qualified for new flavor/flavor QC testing and pass the examination
• Qualified for Snacks core simple/core complex testing and pass the examination
• 100% accurate and traceable test data recorded in PepsiCo data system (LIMS/ELN).
• Timely feedbacks or analytical data to stakeholders.
• Good maintenance of equipment.
• Timely outsource samples to contract labs and collect results.
• Safe laboratory environment and no accident happened in laboratory.
• On time deliver lab admin work

• Asia R&D Analytical team, GZ MS team, GZ PGCS Quality team, Asia R&D PD

External:

• Contract labs, instrument & consumable suppliers

Requirements:

• Master or above in chemistry field, Foods field or related field.
• Analytical experience is preferred for at least 3 year. Chromatogram experience on LC and GC is necessary.
• Experience in foods and beverages preferred.
• Strong communication skills working with different stakeholders/interfaces.
• Computer Skill: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• English communication skill: verbal and written English.
