Responsibility § Research on state-of-the-art technologies related to data analytics, esp. for industrial area § Work with domain experts and understand basic relations of motor data § Building innovative computational models & algorithms according to data analytics requirements tailored to electrical motor industry § Transformation of data models & algorithms into solutions for internal and external customers § Hands-on evaluation of data analytics platforms and competing data analytics solutions Basic Qualifications § Master degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent § Extensive hands-on experience on data mining / machine learning algorithms, neural network, deep learning is preferred § 2+ years research or development experience related to data analytics, like using statistical software packages (R, Python, Matlab, etc.) § Knowledge on cloud-based data analytics platforms / tools, like MapReduce, Storm, Spark, Tableau, Grafana, etc. § Self-motivated, good communication skills and good team player Preferred Additional Qualifications § Doctorate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent § Demonstrated proficiency in at least 1 of the listed: Java, C++ § Experience on data analytics application/solution design and development § Excellent presentation skills § Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Language § Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
