To be part of R&D team in Delonghi Shenzhen as a cost engineer, you will fully involve in various products break down cost calculation, a good opportunity of participating cost analysis independently and efficient communicating with contract manufacturers for detailed cost of bill of materials.

Required Educational Background:

Major in Mechanical Engineering or related， Bachelor degree

Required knowledge:

？ 2+ years working experience in small home appliance cost analysis;

？ BOM cost calculation, release cost report and maintains it updated from beginning toMP start;

？ Basic knowledge of CAD 3D/2D Creo and Autocad;

？ Good working knowledge of thermoplastic technologies;

？ Cost calculation for plastic part and others commercial components is a must;

？ Good working knowledge of aluminium die-casting technologies and sheet metal

stamping;

？ Proficient in using Microsoft Office package, Internet and E-mail;

？ Good knowledge on electromechanical components used on appliances like Coffee Maker, Steam Station, Food Processor, etc.;

？ Good in written and spoken English, with good working knowledge of technical

terminology;

Major Duties:

？ Maintain the current cost data base updated, especially for raw materials (Plastic and metal) and all other components cost updated;

？ Report to R&D Manager and send all BOM cost per scheduled;

？ To develop BOM and Explode view and calculate each component cost, and to

maintain these documents updated from project start to mass production;

？ Comparing and checking BOM cost from contract suppliers, hold regular meeting with suppliers to reduce the cost gap.

？ Cooperate with suppliers to find key commercial components and support purchasing dept for the lead time, advise all components availability to purchasing dept during product developing. (from T1…, Pilot run and MP start);

？ High sense of working enthusiasm and can continuous to provide solutions to various requirements from customers.

Skills:

Cost analysis ability is a compulsory. Can make the break down details on the material

and make the analysis to check out if the prices are reasonable.

Knowledge of the raw materials cost movement

Technical detail-oriented

Good presentation skills with the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas.

Good to summarize complex issues.

Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner.
