Principal Accountabilities:

Establish and drive a technical program to achieve business objectives

Drive new cost effective and novel RM research

Insure products to meet PPG requirement and local regulations

Support customer complaints investigation

Manage recoverable asset project to minimize waste goods

Establish appropriate technical controls and protection of intellectual property

People management and development

Liaise with other Department effectively such as marketing, purchase EHS and production etc.

Project report to BU Managers as required

Requires:

Minimum qualification of chemistry graduate

3-5 years’ experience in architecture coating formulation is necessary, preferred to have strong formulation experience in development of latex based wall paints

Creative thinking ability

Leadership and team building skills

Networking within company and outside

Ability to plan with available resources

People management skills

Time Management skills

Communication skill

Knowledge of Quality, safety and environmental management

Spoken and written English preferred
