The R&D Chemist has the primary responsibility for conducting research tasks coordinated by more experienced scientists and managers. This position is based on Guangzhou lab and reports to the Technical leader-Automotive.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Develop new product or tweak formula to meet customers’ or marketing requirements, and help sales team to growth business.
2. Evaluate the new raw material and handle product localization
3. Conducts and/or participates in research projects within a scientific specialty. Is responsible for meeting research goals within time and budget constraints.
4. Complete assigned marketing and project development activities.
5. Organizes the development findings, draws conclusions and summary the report.
6. Regularly communicate with internal technical teams, including global and regional R&D, sub-lab team and technical service team.
7. Provide professional technical support like demo on site, troubleshooting and new application development for HBF Automotive product lines.
8. Good hands-on skills.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
1. Master or above in Polymer, Material Science, Chemistry.
2. Related work experience over 2 years.
3. Great English including speaking and writing.
4. Self-motivated, proactive and confident, can-do attitude
5. Sensitive to market trends.
