KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责 (include EHSS responsibilities)

1. Search literature and design synthetic route independently.

2. Synthetize and characterize silicone resin with multi-steps independently, efficiently, safely, and reproducibly. Overcome synthetic problems by making appropriate modifications of reaction conditions.

3. Keep accurate, legible and complete records of all experiments, including conclusions and hypotheses for next steps to be taken in Mandarin and English language.

4. Support innovation product scale-up in plant on demand.

5. Maintain samples, chemical substances, technical equipment, furniture and operational procedures.

6. Meet the requirements of IMS/ISO and EHSS standards.

7. Follow up the EHSS requirement of company and especially synthetic laboratory.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/必备条件 (education, language, expertise, functional competencies)

Education

1. Master degree or Ph.D degree

2. Major in chemistry and organic chemistry, silicone/polymer-related preferred.

Knowledge/Requirement

1. Solid theoretical knowledge of chemistry, silicone chemistry preferred.

2. Pronounced practical lab skills, especially in product synthesizing and purification.

3. Basic analytical ability on spectrogram. Ex. NMR, GPC, FTIR and DSC

4. Diligence and creativity, quick response to work, efficient time management.

5. Good command of written and spoken English.

6. Solid IT skills (MS Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook).

7. Soft skills: Open-minded, pro-active and communicational personality.
