Main Responsibilities:

• To support and/or manage new product development projects in Changshu R&D Center

• To support product industrialization in Arkema plants in China

1. Product development projects on injection related applications This mission consists in: - Designing formulation in collaboration with project leader and other R&D Centers in France and Japan - Setting up compounding campaign & DOE (design of experiments), organizing evaluation program - Building all the technical package necessary for product promotion such as technical data sheet - Identifying technical differentiation through benchmark studies with competitive products - Reporting clearly and timely results, findings through internal tools and database - Carrying out preliminary research to clarify patent landscape, writing invention records, working with IP attorney to apply patents 2. Support of new product industrialization This mission consists in: - Following up and supporting the scale up of product development projects - Evaluating pilot/industrial scale products, ensure a good consistency/reliability - Supporting qualification of new raw materials and/or transfer of new products to China plants

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Master/PhD (or equivalent) in chemical science, preferably in polymer science/engineering

• Fluent in English, French is a plus

• Environmental, Health, and Safety Awareness

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, proactive behavior

• Striving for achievement, interpersonal understanding

• Analytical thinking, team work
