SCOPE OF THE ROLE AND BASIC PURPOSE/职位与基本目的的范围
R&D Engineer is primarily responsible for ensuring that design intent (form, fit, function) and design for
manufacture are satisfied during the product design process. The comprehensive conveyance of all
drawing/design data, required to manufacture products cost effectively is a fundamental and core
responsibility. The accurate capture and translation of design inputs into design solutions that have been
verified and validated is also a central activity for ensuring the quality of product designs.
研发工程师的基本职责是在产品设计的过程中确保设计的目的(形式,适配度以及功能)和可制造
性符合要求。工程师的基本核心职责是确保所有图纸/设计数据能够指导产品被有效的生产出来。
作为保证产品设计质量的一个关键行为是,研发工程师需要精准的捕捉设计输入以及把设计输入转
化成设计方案并且对设计方案进行验证和确认。

- Focus on 3D modeling (CAD) and drafting and the associate training and skill development to perform

- Interact with external partners, including Global Product Development functions.
- Assume responsibility for own design commitments delivering to agreed project schedules.
- Generate data and contribute required information for the Design History Files (DHF).
- Provide technical product support for surgeons & sales force.
- Support base business activities such as technical support of existing product lines.
- Stay informed of market trends which impact the business.
- Create and implement engineering changes.
- Actively propose improvements for company related systems, procedures and specifications to improve product development efficiency and quality.
- Strictly maintain confidential Information and intellectual property (IP) includes Product development information, designs, trade secrets, government reporting and legal matters, sales volumes and marketing strategies.

- Coordinate prototype production and approves design drawings.
- Proactively make proposals to support decisions which impact assigned projects.
