You will be Responsible for mechanical design of switches and socket outlets. As a R&D Engineer, you will be reporting to the R&D/ Technology Manager in the Business Area – Electrification, Smart Buildings located in Shanghai, China.

Your responsibilities

• Working on product development, mechanical design, drawings and materials selection.
• Defining product specification and verification test scheme according to relevant requirements and standards.
• Collaborating with testing team to perform R&D test.
• Writing the related technical documentations.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical engineering and material related professional.
• Minimum five years’ experience in mechanical development, experience on low voltage product development and new products development project management is preferred.
• Must be skilled at Creo4.0 design, familiar with metal stamping tool and plastic molds and the related process, experiences on kinematic and dynamic mechanical simulation are preferred.
• Must have good communication skill with ability to read and write in English.
• Be highly responsible, self-motivated and Willing to take on additional tasks.
• A very strong learning ability and pragmatic spirit and a positive progressive attitude under pressure to work are expected.
