This is a R&D Engineer role, reporting to the R&Q Project Manager in the Business Area – Motion located in Shanghai, China.

Your responsibilities

• Participating motor and generator development project and product maintenance as mechanical engineer. Being responsible of technical solution.
• Participating in design review, manufacturability review, Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA).
• Assisting project manager to evaluate and mitigating technical risks.
• Being responsible for creating mechanical drawings and technical document.
• Assisting project manager to hand over project deliverables.
• Providing technical support to Production Units, Supply Chain Management, and Service.

Your background

• Must have a bachelor’s degree and above with major in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of Motor and generator design experience and 5 years of mechanical design experience.
• An expert in mechanical design with extensive R&D or engineering experience in motors and generators. Familiar with production process of electric machines and key component.
• Must have basic English, CET4.
• PC Skills of NX/UG, AutoCAD, PDM, MS-Office programs are desired.
• Should exhibit good ownership, proactive behavior, good communication and teamwork skills, willingness and capability to learn.
