This is a R&D Engineer role reporting to the R&D Team Manager in the Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation located in Shanghai, China.

Your responsibilities

• Working as a C# developer in R&D department.
• Being responsible for robot application software development, project report document and process document.
• Being able to solve problems, teamwork skills and time management.
• Working with positive attitude, engaging in the tasks and a strong result-orientation.
• Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, mechanical, automation or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in standard and regulation affairs.
• Must have fair knowledge and skills in C# or C++ software development.
• Excellent communication in English, read and write are mandatory.
• Must have good experience in development/test experience of robot/automation system and WPF development.
• Good Knowledge/experience of auto-testing, agile development process.
• Good experience in robot or relevant product development process.
