This is a R&D Engineer role reporting to the R&D Team Manager in the Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation located in Shanghai, China.

Your responsibilities

• Working as a web developer in R&D department.
• Being responsible for robot application software development.
• Being responsible for project report document and process document.
• Solving the problem, teamwork and time management skills.
• Working with positive attitude, engaging in the tasks and a strong result-orientation skill.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, mechanical, automation or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in standard and regulation affairs.
• Good skill level in mainstream web development language/tool such as JavaScript.
• Fair Knowledge of HTML5 language/CSS/JSON and IoC/DI framework.
• Must have proficient communication skills in English, read and write are mandatory.
• Good experience in development/testing of robot/automation system.
• Good experience in development of Microsoft Azure application, JQuery/React, Electron.
• Fair knowledge/experience of auto-testing/DDD, Agile development process.
• Good experience in robot or relevant product development process.
