This is a R&D Engineer - External role reporting to the R&D Team Manager in the Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation, located in Shanghai, China.
Your responsibilities
- Doing gearbox, robot vibration testing. Acquiring, processing and analyzing test data.
- Managing lab equipment and material.
- Performing routine check on robot and key component test status.
- Maintaining test related documents.
- Closely cooperating and coordinating with project team and 3rd party to ensure test process smoothly and efficiently.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanics, electronics or automation etc.
- At least 3+ year test working experience. Rich experience in robots and related components testing.
- Familiar with Harmonic and RV gearbox working principle, common failure modes and causes.
- Familiar with popular data processing methods such as time-domain/frequency-domain analysis for vibration test data.
- Familiar with popular programming languages, such as MATLAB, Python GUI programing, able to process and analyze test data using the developed programs.
