This is a R&D Engineer - External role reporting to the R&D Team Manager in the Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation, located in Shanghai, China.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for robot prototype verification and validation during robot development phase, including but not limited to mechanical test, mechanical performance test, system integration test.
• Being responsible for the validation of the lifetime of the mechanical parts.
• Being responsible for drafting Verification and Validation (V&V) test reports.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical test, preferably for motor, gear, sealing, cable etc. especially in the area of lifetime and performance test.
• Experience with 3D drawing tool like SolidWorks or similarly tools.
• Good communication skill.
• Good oral and written English.
