This is a R&D Engineer - External role reporting to the R&D Team Manager in the Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation, located in Shanghai, China.
Your responsibilities
- Being responsible for robot controller prototype verification and validation during development phase for electronic test, electronic safety test, functional safety test, fault injection test.
- Being responsible for verification and validation test report.
- Ensuring good cooperation with relevant department/team to execute R&D activities.
- Maintaining subcontract test network.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree or above in electronics, automation.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in electronics relevant domain.
- Familiar with the common test equipment (eg: oscilloscope, multimeter, thermal test equipment and variant sensors) and the remote-control method.
- Familiar with ISO 10218, IEC 60204, UL 1740, ISO 13849 related standards would be a plus.
- Experience in electronic & electronic safety test and experience in robot, servo control, machine tool area would be a plus.
- Good coordinating skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good oral and written English communication skills. Self-motivated and ability to work in a project team.
