This is a R&D Engineer - External role reporting to the R&D Team Manager in the Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation, located in Shanghai, China.
Your responsibilities
- Being responsible for robot products quality improvement in R&D department.
- Supporting R&D engineer to analyze problem and initiate correction and preventive actions, including analysis report, verification of causes, updating 3D/2D drawings, verification of solutions.
- Coordinating with cross function team to solve the quality issues.
- Leading to do the assembly related works and verification tests.
- Managing tools and testing cells in the lab.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or related field
- At least 3+ year working experience in mechanical design experience with good 2D/3D design skills.
- Experience in electromechanical product development/ improvement project will be a plus.
- Experience in electromechanical product assembly and testing. Be familiar with SolidWorks. Lean 6 sigma project experience or related skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, workable written English communication skill.
- Communication skills for the cross-function work.
- Be self-motivated and a good team player in a project team.
