As an R&D Engineer you will be responsible for module/unit level debug and test, e.g. power test, thermal test, performance test, type test etc., in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the R&D Team Manager, you will be responsible for instruments maintenance.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for printed circuit board (PCB) level test and debug, e.g. electrical characteristics test, signal integrity test, functional debug, etc
• Being responsible for module/unit level debug and test, e.g. power test, thermal test, performance test, type test etc
• Being responsible for prototyping tracking, e.g. material management, PO tracking, acceptance test etc
• Being responsible for electronics lab 6S administration
• Being responsible for instruments maintenance

Your background

• 2+ years of working experience, major in electronics engineering, automation or equivalent
• Familiar with various electronics components and their functions, be able to read circuit diagram
• Must be proficient in PCB soldering
• Electrician certificate is preferred
• Good command of lab instruments, e.g. oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator, power analyzer, etc.
• A Bachelor’s degree or above
• Good written English, able to read and write English documents
