This is a R&D Engineer - External role reporting to the R&D Team Manager in the Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation, located in Shanghai, China.

Your responsibilities

• Work as a software test engineer in R&D department.
• Being responsible for project test report document and being responsible for process document.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Mechanical, Automation or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in standard & regulation affairs.
• Must have good skill level in understanding software functionalities and writing test cases.
• Familiar with software test theory (eg. integration test, system test) and knowledge of mainstream software test toolchains (eg. DevOps).
• Ability of proficient communication in English, read and write are mandatory.
• Good to have skills are knowledge of UI automation test, knowledge of Unit test, C# code development and development/test experience of robot/automation system, knowledge of Agile development process, experience in robot or relevant product test process.
• Must have ability to solve problem, teamwork skills, time management skills, positive attitude to work, engaging in tasks and working with a strong result-orientation.
