For a new Center of Competence at Oetiker China in Tianjin we are sourcing a software tester position. You will be supporting the development of mechatronic and software based products and assembly tools. As part of global project teams, you will be driving key development activities: 

• Plan, develop and execute test cases
• Process and report test results
• File and maintain bug reports
• Support developers during bug fixing
• Analyse customer problems
• Perform generic device tests
• Automate tests
• Administrate Atlassian tools

Education / Experience

• 5+ years experience as R&D Engineer with focus on testing/software, or equivalent role, preferably in automotive or in a high-mix/high-volume OEM environment
• Higher degree in Electrical/Software Engineering (BSc, MSc) combined with relevant work experience. Affinity for electromechanical products.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English
• Experienced in Quality Systems such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
• Affinity for software development
• Practiced in use of automation servers like Jenkins or Bamboo
• Proficient with test tools like Cucumber
• Experienced in handling test reporting tools such as the Allure Framework
• Familiar with issue trackers like Jira
• Experience with version control systems like Git is an advantage
• Knowledge of databases is desirable

The incumbent will be part of the global R&D team, contributing to global projects and activities.
