As a Global Senior Procurement Specialist in Global Procurement Services in Warsaw, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the day to day sourcing and contracting activity, in partnership with the Global Category Teams.

Currently, we are looking for Senior Procurement Specialist/ Associate Procurement Manager to join S2C R&D Data and Technology team.

Main Duties:

As a Senior Procurement Specialist/ Associate Procurement Manager your main responsibility is to play a key role in managing the end-to-end Source to Contract process to deliver technology-enabled services for clinical studies. In this role you will be instrumental part of R&D Global Procurement Team responsible for implementation of sourcing and contracting strategies to ensure successful deliver against category targets. You will direct the preparation and delivery of each key element of the end to end sourcing and contracting process, including authoring, negotiating and processing of contracts with AstraZeneca’s suppliers. Influence best practice, standardization and ensure compliance across the life cycle of the source to contract process.

Our requirements:

  • University degree is a must

  • Previous experience in IT or R&D Procurement

  • Experience of working in global or regional procurement or compliance

  • Experience in contracts drafting and negotiations, understanding of contract life cycle and legal parameters

  • Leading procurement projects that are aligned with enterprise-wide business/Procurement needs

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Desire to work as part of a strong team

  • Background experience of working collaboratively across teams

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization and externally with suppliers

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills

  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools

Optional:

  • Background operating in a similar complex, matrix, global organization like AstraZeneca or similarly heavily regulated industry.

  • Excellent Project Management skills to effectively manage sourcing events/small projects on behalf of the category team/s.

  • Knowledge of solutions for collecting, managing, storing of clinical data

  • Analytical skills

  • Market research expertise

  • Experience with SAP Ariba or any other sourcing tool.
