How will you make an impact?
 
Thermo Fisher Scientific is currently recruiting R&D Laboratory Engineer to join the Research and Development department based in Vantaa, Finland.
 
This Laboratory Engineer will work as part of a Clinical Mass Spectrometry (CMS) R&D diagnostic team and support verification and validation of LC-MSMS based applications for Cascadion SM analyzer. 
We are looking for a proactive, self-driven, result oriented team player. You enjoy working with high technology products. You want to develop yourself and the way of working. We offer motivating tasks in innovative working environment.
 
Key responsibilities:
•           Participation of Cascadion analyzer maintenance, service, troubleshooting and new product development in close collaboration with service and support organization.
•           Implementing software and hardware updates to V&V instruments.
•           V&V laboratory maintenance tasks. 
 
Experience/Qualifications/Qualities:
 
•           A degree in relevant electronics, engineering or life sciences field
•           Previous experience in working with In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) instruments
•           Several years working experience in laboratory
•           Previous experience with LC-MSMS technology is preferred.
•           Excellent time-management, planning and organization skills to handle and efficiently manage high workload and meet timelines.
•           Sufficient computer skills and experience in MS Office package
•           Good communication skills and results oriented way of working
•           Open, flexible and innovative team player
•           Good verbal and written communication skills in English
