How will you make an impact?

We are looking for a R&D Laboratory Technician for a permanent position to Cascadion SM Clinical Chemistry Analyzer method development team in Vantaa.

You will work as part of a Clinical Mass Spectrometry (CMS) Assay R&D team and participate in method development projects for LC-MS/MS based applications for Cascadion SM analyzer. You will have an opportunity to work with high technology products and develop yourself and the ways of working in a motivating, innovative working environment.

What will you do?

Your work includes sample preparation and their analysis with LC-MS/MS instrumentation and automated Cascadion clinical chemistry analyzer. You will support R&D Scientists in LC-MS clinical chemistry method development testing and troubleshooting. Also, general laboratory maintenance tasks are part of your responsibilities.

How will you get here?
  • Vocational or Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biosciences or related field
  • Min. 2-3 years working experience in laboratory work
  • Previous experience with LC-MS techniques and instrumentation preferred
  • Previous experience in working with In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) methods is valued
  • Demonstrated ability to execute systematic project work and documentation
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong teamwork and effective problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills and experience in MS Office package
