Main Responsibilities:

1. Creation of concepts, conduction of feasibility studies, deep dive analyses for risks and opportunities

2. Calculation and simulation of mechanical strengths, kinematic strength chains, simulation of temperature extension

3. Develop independent mechanical solutions under consideration of costs, time and technical requirements

4. Support PRM and create Req. Spec. and Dev. Spec.

5. Act as mentor and coach in R&D projects, strives to develop and motivate the colleagues and transfer skills and experiences to them

6. Manage drawings and relevant documents

7. Build up and maintain strong relationship within local factory and global R&D partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree

• Skills in complex thinking in mechanical structures

• 5 years or more work experience in High Voltage Switchgear
  

• Knowledge in mechanical drives, materials and kinematic chain systems

• Recognize of trends, awareness of “state of art” technology and applications

• Result-orientated, ambitioned and assertiveness work should be a strength

• Knowledge referred to GB/IEC standards
  

• Knowledge in design tools preferred ProE, Ansys, Matlab

• Skills in Excel and Office tools are mandatory

• Cost awareness, quality-, safety- (EHS) and sustainable thinking

• Method skills of variant- or data analyzes will be a plus

• Fluently English
