Your new role – challenging and future-oriented 1. The R&D Project Lead manages projects with full responsibility for project results in the context of delivery to cost, quality, schedule, and stakeholder satisfaction. 2. Creates project schedules and drives R&D projects in cooperation with stakeholders. 3. Completes project within the defined requirements (e.g., regarding targets for project cost, time, quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction). The complete adherence to standard Product Development Process is must. 4. Ensures timely decisions about open issues, escalating if necessary. 5. Manages and ensures compliance to standards, working laws, rules and regulations, intellectual property rights. 6. Performs risk and opportunity management. 7. Performs budget and resource planning as well as generation of project agreement for project. 8. Aligns project targets with R&D strategy (e.g., product portfolio, technology roadmap). 9. Ensures appropriate Project documentation. 10. Know how of Steam Turbine product and specialization in Design / Thermodynamics / Rotor-Dynamics / FEA etc. is must. Responsible as domain lead for own domain activities e.g. design / THD / rotor dynamics / FEA throughout the project. Flexibility to work as project lead / domain lead as per business requirements. 11. Responsible for providing R&D support to Proposal team for bidding purposes as and when needed. 12. Knowledge of Quality Management system We don’t need superheroes, just super minds · Masters from IIT’s or MS from international institutes in Mechanical Engineering and proven track record as overall project lead in Steam turbine development for +7 years. · 15-20 years prior experience in R&D / Engineering as Design Engineer in Steam Turbine industry · 3-5 years of international work experience in Steam Turbine development. · Multi disciplinary work experience in Steam Turbine development (in more than 1 domain – Design / FEA / Thermodynamics / Rotor dynamics). · Sound Technical knowhow of Steam turbine Design. · Proven expertise as a Project Manager in a product development environment This role is based in Gurgaon, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries – and the shape of things to come.
