Job Description

Agilent is looking for a R&D Scientist to join our R&D Flow Cytometry team in the Reagent Partnerships Division.

We wish to expand our portfolio of flow cytometry reagents and are therefore recruiting new talents for our R&D department.

The job involves development of new antibody reagents for flow cytometry, optimizing the coupling of fluorescent dyes to antibody and investigation of reagent characteristics to ensure we can offer new markers for the IVD sector.

Selection of new markers for commercial development is done in cooperation with Sales and Marketing while tests of new antibody reagents by external partners or customers are coordinated with Scientific Support.

Selected new reagents are documented, validated and transferred to manufacturing operations according to Agilent's quality management system and in cooperation with Production Support and Quality Assurance.

You will also be responsible for sustaining current portfolio of reagents for flow cytometry e.g. documentation of design changes.

About Reagent Partnerships Division
Reagents Partnerships is a business unit focused on development and commercialization of products for Flow Cytometry and Clinical Chemistry (antibody assays). Our business involves sales directly to end-users (the retail business) but the main area is sales to other businesses (the B2B business) where we provide products to our commercial customers in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) sector, spanning from single antibodies to complex turbidimetry kits used for measurement of key clinical parameters.
