Your responsibilities
- Contributing for the development of robotic application software, understanding different robotic applications and extract real requirements from customer and application expert, then do software designing and implementation of work as industrial market is known for being extremely demanding with respect to quality, therefore, extra attention to the quality of the output is needed.
- Integrating into day-to-day operations; Working on needs in your area of expertise and the needs in the group.
- Working as research engineer in R&D department and acting as task or work-package manager.
- Acting as an active team member, contributing with knowledge and competence to other activities.
- Independently solving technical problems by applying expertise within your area.
- Contributing for improvement of our operation and increasing customer satisfaction according to requests.
- Understanding the key business drivers for ABB and R&D, problem solving, teamwork skills and time management.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
- Must have major in Computer Science, Mechanical, Automation or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of related working experience required.
- Must have good skills in C#/WPF/.Net software development.
- Must be familiar with mainstream software development methodology like MVVM, design pattern and object orientation.
- Ability of proficient communication in English language required.
- Positive attitude to work, engagement in the tasks and a strong result-orientation preferred.
- In addition, the following skills and experiences would be a plus: like WPF development experience, development/testing experience of robot/ automation/system, knowledge of UML, knowledge/experience of auto-testing, knowledge of Agile development process.
