This is a R&D Engineer - External role reporting to the R&D Team Manager in the Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation, located in Shanghai, China.
Your responsibilities
- Being responsible for printed circuit board (PCB) level test and debug, e.g. electrical characteristics test, signal integrity test, functional debug, etc.
- Being responsible for module/unit level debug and test, e.g. power test, thermal test, performance test, type test etc.
- Being responsible for prototyping tracking, e.g. material management, PO tracking, acceptance test etc.
- Being responsible for electronics lab six sigma administration.
- Being responsible for instruments maintenance.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years working experience, major in electronics engineering, automation or equivalent.
- Familiar with various electronics components and their functions, ability to read circuit diagram.
- Proficient in PCB soldering.
- Good command of lab instruments, e.g. oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator, power analyzer, etc.
- Good written English, ability to read and write English documents.
- Electrician certificate is preferred.
