Global Finance Services is at the heart of the Finance function - accountable to the AstraZeneca (AZ) Group for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes that enable our customers to focus on AZ’s strategic priorities.

You will be responsible to carry out transaction processing activities within a specified process area to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. As part of your tasks in daily accounting activities and month-end close, you will also ensure quality and accurate delivery of services within agreed guidelines as well as participate in process improvement initiatives outlined in our company and R2R team scorecard.

Role Responsibility

  • Perform FX revaluation and variance analysis. Highlight and rectify any identified anomalies.
  • Perform revaluation errors and post adjustment entries.
  • Perform accord reconciliation, accruals and R&D reporting and payroll related posting accurately in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for Balance Sheet Reconciliations preparation.
  • Maintain distribution cycles.
  • Process manual journal. Execute and upload journal automated program.
  • Work collaboratively with internal customers and partners.
  • Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within specified timescales.

Essential Requirements

  • You should have at least a Degree in Accounting, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Possess 1-2 years of accounting work experiences. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP, Oracle or other ERP system is an advantage.
  • Experience of working in a shared service centre across a global/large organization.
  • Good communication skill and proficient in English. Where required, proficiency in a particular foreign language is needed.
