As a Radio Frequency Test Engineer focus for the M2M team located in Dalian, you will test RF conductivity and EMC of Gemalto’s wireless communication modules that will be used in automotive, industrial and other M2M applications globally.

A week in the life of a RADIO FREQUENCY TEST ENGINEER:

• You will create test plans and design related test cases according to product requirements.

• You will setup radio frequency (RF) test environment and execute related RF testing.

• You will complete assigned tasks and deliver professional test reports on schedule.

• You will be defined as RF acceptance owner of ODM project

• You will keep contact with Approval lab for test schedule, test result and log management for local project.

• You will manage RF equipment and EMC lab as daily practice

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• To succeed at this job, you must have: experience with GSM, WCDMA and LTE wireless and microwave technologies and related test specifications; strong command of RF test methods, EMC spec, equipment and systems including Agilent 8960, R&S CMU 200 and MW500; familiarity with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, R&S EMC32, Agilent test system such as GS8800 and R&S TS 8950 and basic test principles.

• It would be preferred if you have previous experience in M2M or wireless technologies.

• It would be preferred if you have previous experience of test equipment annual inspection

• You must be fluent in English

• We would like someone to join our team who is a strong troubleshooter and communicator.

• You must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Telecommunication, Electromagnetic or Microwave Technology

• We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in an RF test domain
