We are hiring a DCG RAID/HBA Storage Engineer to work in our Data Center Group! Lenovo's Data Center Group is innovating the future-defined data center, today. From the simplest to the most complex IT environments for all types of workloads, our servers, storage, networking and solutions help maximize the potential of data centers. What You’ll Do In this role the RAID/HBA Hardware Engineer will drive development of Lenovo RAID/HBA products and solutions. This engineer will support the hardware design, development and debug of RAID/HBA subsystem solutions. Engineer will work closely with server engineering team to implement design solutions. Responsibilities also include leading the debug of complex issues and root cause investigation. This role will be technology focal point on RAID/HBA product to support other functional areas within the broader team. Hardware Engineer is responsible for RAID/HBA Adapters for ThinkSystem Servers. Support Product Assurance test and Manufacturing for validation and production. #### Position Requirements: Basic Qualifications: • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field • 5+ years of experience in Hardware Design of Storage and Server subsystems • Storage industry experience RAID/HBA technology • Expertise in PCIe/NVMe, SAS, SATA, iSCSI and FC protocols • Experience with Hardware and Storage debug • Proficient in Linux/Windows/VMWare Operating systems • Knowledge of HW Development processes • Knowledge of Server technologies including HW, UEFI, BMC architecture • Design and Hardware Debug Skills for high speed interfaces • Cadence design tools for schematic capture and layout experience • PCIe/SAS Analyzer Experience • Selection of PCB Materials • Electronic component selection • Development prototype hardware validation Preferred Qualifications: • Good English written and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated learning and teaming attitude We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
