• Cost Controlling
• supporting BUs to reach Budget target
• analyzing cost categories and making own suggestion to BU how to make savings
• evaluating new projects and giving advice whether feasible or not from a budget perspective
• creating and steering own analysis to make cost transparent and create efficiencies
• identifying need for actions to ensure target achievement
• presenting current budget situation to BU on director level
• acting as a challenger for BU to create efficiencies and value added for the company
• Controlling and invoicing process
• invoicing RD China cost to RD Germany to fulfill accounting and Intellectual Property requests
• improving existing processes concerning invoicing, planning and cost controlling
• creating own internal processes to facilitate controlling work and bring value added to BU
• being proactive in acting to avoid inefficient processes
• Reporting
• delivering accurate figures in time for standard reports (monthly cost report) for BU as well as Head of FGR
• creating own reports and present them to BU
• create deviation analysis including comments explaining the deviations
• combining financial reports with Business aspects and technology development
• Budget and investment planning
• Understanding daily tasks of BU to support in upcoming planning periods
• Being able to assess the financial impacts of upcoming topics like new innovative technologies
• Create own standard reference model to get own financial opinion independent from BU bottom up planning
• Perform detailed assessment and make solid counter proposal to BU
