Objective of job:
Driving system powertrain integration regarding calibration functions.
- Powertrain development and integration on target carlines
- Powertrain project management for the specified engine variants
- Technical coordination of powertrain projects within RD global network
Tasks:
- Powertrain integration based drive system requirement in the overall vehicle.
- Coordination with Mercedes-Benz Head-Quarter powertrain and Homologation development departments in Germany.
- Project management of development and Life cycle management in RD China together with Headquarter and cooperation partners.
- Evaluation of behaviour regarding the whole drive system for specified engine/powertrain projects.
- Support localization activities of local drivetrains.
- Work together with cross-functional departments like Quality,IPS, RD Germany development.
- Benchmark technical analysis, aftersales technical issue support.
- Support of test trips in China and worldwide to calibrate and evaluate the vehicle under multiple climate conditions.
- Support local commissioning activities.
- Independent organization of daily task and proper documentation of work progress utilizing the Daimler calibration tools.
