Objective of job
- Manage and coordinate RD China overall vehicle testing planning, activity, and result to ensure smooth and successful releases for locally build vehicle projects.
- Support RD China overall vehicle testing to track, align, escalate, and report outstanding technical findings to ensure sufficient issue solving timeline, product quality and product readiness before market launch.
- Collaborate with RD component, RD function testing, QM, and after-sale to understand, analyze and resolve outstanding field technical issue to improve product perfection, customer satisfaction, and brand image.
Task Description
- Monitor the completeness and quality of overall vehicle testing activities to ensure the results can meet testing requirements, standards and project milestones
- Collect department level testing progresses and technical issues, and reported and escalated in management meetings in accordance with project milestones
- Manage departmental quality and RD releases for all launch, facelift and change year projects
- Organize department level issue sharing and tracking meeting to create transparency and facilitate critical technical issues’ resolution
- Support on organizing management drives to demonstrate development progress and products’ maturity, and to align objective evaluation results to define next step and countermeasure
- Align release strategy, progress, and key issues with major stakeholders in China and HQ
- Evaluate testing vehicles’ performance and behavior on Chinese customers behalf to ensure the products’ concept, quality and behavior meet Chinese customers’ requirement and satisfaction based on market feedbacks from various sources
