RESIDENT ENGINEER

• Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with minimum of 5 years in Superstructure works
• Minimum requirements to be Qualified for TCP-T3 level - RSE Stream in accordance with the Code of Practice for Site Supervision 2009 for Superstructure & Foundation Works. In addition, qualification for TCP-T3 RGE stream (excavation) will be an advantage.
• Extensive Experience in the supervision of footing, and excavation works
• Extensive Experience in the supervision of re-bar fixing, form-work inspection & removal, back-propping and concreting works
• Experience in demolition and Alteration and Addition Works
• Experience in the supervision of Structural Steel works
• Experience in checking cladding & façade works
• Capability to carry out on-site coordination with Main Contractor and Specialist Contractors
• Capability to monitor continually the contractor’s construction operations and compliance with the specifications
• Good report writing skills
• Experience in inspecting curtain wall, window, facade and cladding installation work
• Capability in preparing minutes of meeting and conducting site meetings pertaining to structural aspects of the works
• Proficiency in written and spoken English to be able to communicate with the Client’s representative

The tentative employment period for the above position will be about 8-10 months with gratuity payable on satisfactory completion of the contract and the tentative commencement date of employment will be in mid-April 2020.
