Job Overview
QUALCOMM Technologies Inc. is the world leader in supplying integrated circuit solutions for cellular wireless standards and is the number one fabless semiconductor company. In order to drive our next phase of growth in cellular using 4G/5G technologies, we are expanding the Product and Test Development (PTE) team focused on RF Front End (RFFE) devices. This team is responsible for developing QUALCOMMs leading edge RFFE products including Power Amplifiers, LNAs, Switch/Tuners, etc. in the most advanced processes. In this role you will own the below responsibilities: Automated Test solutions development for RFFE products Design & Debug of Test interface Hardware & Software Hardware & Software Integration Measurement Science evaluation Test Time & data throughput Improvement System Performance Correlation
Minimum Qualifications
Validation, characterization, and production test of RF front-end (RFFE) integrated chips. Modules consist of Power Amplifiers, LNAs, Switches, and Duplexers.
Characterization of PAs w/ Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD) and Envelope Tracking (ET).
Experience with atleast 1 ATE test platform: Advantest-93k, NI-STS, Teradyne-uFlex.
Develop software using Labview, C++, and Java to test Integrated Circuits.
Lab Equipment Knowledge, must be able to use common lab bench equip (oscilloscope, voltmeter, power meter, spectrum analyzer, vna)
Familiarity with the New Product Introduction process.
Understanding of Test methodology for cellular standards.
Develop test hardware utilizing team approach, reviewing schematics and layouts.
Loadboard Design Experience and understanding hardware layout, able to review and comprehend RF routing (microstrip, stripline, coplanar) power grids, digital routes.
Statistical Analysis Capability (Datapower, Excel, SEDana, etc)
Scripting software w/ python, perl, vb or other scripting language to automate tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of direct industry experience. Familiar w/ de-embedding of RF fixtures (s2p, citi). Must be able to troubleshooting hardware and software to develop test solutions. Must have analytical skills for debug and development of hardware and software. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Highly motivated, fast learner, team player with good communication skills.
