**We consider candidates in Raleigh, NC for this role**
ADI wireless platform group (WPG) is looking for an experienced printed circuit board (PCB) engineer for a lead role in supporting ADI’s transceiver products. This group develops highly integrated RF transceiver products for 2G to 5G cellular base stations, instrumentation & defense applications and a broad array of software defined radio applications. The selected individual will work with the broader transceiver team including design, verification, PCB layout, marketing and applications engineers to support and enable reliable printed circuit board designs to effectively promote our transceiver technology to customers. The PCB engineer will provide input and guidance throughout the PCB lifecycle, from design, schematic entry, and floor planning through testing of assembled boards and will ultimately be responsible for successful and timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders. The selected candidate should be familiar with the high speed PCB manufacturing processes and understand material and design tradeoffs as they relate to PCB cost and reliability. In addition, the PCB engineer will provide guidance and review of customer designs to ensure successful customer integration of the transceiver devices.
The candidate should have a strong background in advanced PCB design and manufacturing including experience with multi-layer board technology, advanced materials, implementation of advanced structures and isolation techniques. The candidate should also be familiar with RF PCB design, RF matching techniques, and high speed serial interfacing. The candidate will work closely with the design team and subcontractors to ensure PCB designs can be reliably manufactured and meet the design performance targets. The candidate should also be familiar with assembled PCB testing and verification.
