This team is responsible for designing and developing flagship products and supporting the launch of a wide range of 4G and 5G products. As a RF Technician, this role requires working with interdisciplinary teams of Antenna, RF, Baseband, and Software / Modem to help develop best in class mobile products. We are looking for a team member with a solid background in RF conducted & radiated performance measurements and test automation to lead development testing. The role requires to take the ownership of managing and maintaining OTA lab equipment and chamber calibration apart from executing RF & OTA test plans. • Perform RF related tests utilizing a full array of RF equipment including VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters and Base Station simulators (i.e. R&S CMW500,  KS UXM, etc.) • Test, analyze and debug RF field failures in WWAN (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G), WLAN, aGPS and BT • Manage and maintain 5G sub6 near field test equipment and coordinate with equipment vendors to keep license and calibration updated • Manage maintenance and calibration of lab equipment and test systems utilized for RF conducted and radiated performance tests in different labs (i.e. Anechoic chamber, cSAR lab, etc.) • Gain knowledge and expertise in SAR sensor testing and validation • Automation of RF tools to speed up testing. Familiarity with Labview and other automation tools are preferred. #### Position Requirements: • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering • 1+ years work experience in RF and OTA testing • Well versed with prototype evaluation, rework and troubleshooting • Familiarity with LTE, CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC standards • Experience and familiarity with 5G RF technology and associated measurements • Strong understanding and experience on Regulatory tests (SAR, HAC and EMC) and measurement process • Automation tools for data collection and analysis such as Labview, Visual Basic, Python, etc. • Experience in using RF related Qualcomm tools (QXDM, QRCT, QPST, etc.) • Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills and the ability to be effective within a team environment We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
