Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking an Intern - RLC Product Specialist (12 months) to join our Marketing team. This Internship position is based at our Burlington, ON facility. Position Overview: The RLC Product Specialist will be responsible for supporting various Marketing functions of the Product Line including marketing communications, customer support services, field support service, distribution support, and other actions that ensure a customer focused product offering and profitable growth. In this function you will: Assist in creation and launch of commercial catalogs, sales aids and other information documents Provide product support to sales teams and customer service teams Provide system support & maintenance on ERP and pricing systems (Oracle, Global Vista, CPA, Bid Manager) Be responsible for analysis of RFQs in line with product strategies Assist with other commercial operations like working with marcom teams to modify/upgrade web content, assist with marketing programs and distributor events. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: A degree or diploma is required in Engineering, Operations, or Business. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future. No relocation provided. Preferred qualifications: A degree in electrical engineering is an asset. Previous experience in working with/within marketing or sales functions. Position criteria: Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively with cross functional teams ranging from IT, field sales, marketing and senior leadership. Highly motivated, self-starting, enthusiastic, results oriented team player. Strong Microsoft Office skills; PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
