Reporting to the Regional GBMS Head for Manila Site, GBMS Regional Head and GBMS L2 Head, within the CTI Global Batch Management Services Organization, the Infrastructure Senior Managerprovides leadership and oversight for Level 2 Batch Operations services to all Citi businesses within APAC region. The position is responsible for the delivery and quality of core batch services provided by the APAC Level 2 team. The scope of services includes the core Batch Management functions of Workload Automation, Report Management, and Data Transmissions. The Level 2 team is a function being formed as part of Global Batch Management Services within Production Operations of CTI.

Responsibilities:

• Build a collaborative relationship with all business groups in support of their applications in order to meet the technology goals of providing a first class service to our customers.
• Build a collaborative relationship with global Production Operations peers and CTI partners in order to define and deliver global technology solutions that are aligned with organizational strategy and global standards.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and take appropriate action to implement continuous improvement in these areas, leveraging automation solutions wherever feasible.
• Gain and maintain technical competencies to ensure highest quality leading edge support for CTI and the businesses we support.
• Ensure Level 2 services and processes are controlled and compliant with all Citi standards, while maintaining client centric orientation.
• Ensure workloads are effectively managed in support of project and business priorities.
• Ensure the global strategy is executed in the use of standard processes, functions and tools to deliver an effective and efficient service to our customers.
• Support the COB strategy and yearly exercises.
• Support continuous process improvements to optimize operations, prevent incidents and reduce business impact.

Qualifications:

• Minimally 5-7 years Enterprise batch operations experience, preferably within the Financial Services or Banking industry.
• History of a strong customer focus and building strong relationships with partners and clients.
• Confidence and previous experience of representing the needs of their clients and delivering results.
• Capability to absorb and understand complex technical challenges and impart the knowledge upon colleagues.
• Ability to work through problems methodically while under pressure.
• Proven track record for delivering solutions.
• Commitment to challenge existing norms and willingness to initiate and drive standardization and continuous improvement.
• A self-starting and pro-active approach to business.
• An experienced technologist with an appreciation of all datacenter disciplines, familiar with batch processing concepts across multi-platforms.
• The successful candidate should demonstrate advanced applied expertise in minimally one of the three core Batch Management Services functional disciplines, and basic familiarity with the remaining 2: Workload Automation, Report Management, and Data Transmissions.
• Advanced applied expertise in Workload Automation requires:

•             Proficiency with TWS scheduling skills and knowledge, but also knowledge across diverse enterprise scheduling technologies, including but not limited to CA7, CA11, Control M, and Zeke.

              Proficiency with a wide range of scheduling skills across AutoSys disciplines.

• Advanced applied expertise in Report Management requires:

•             Proficiency in administering all technical support functions for Content Management OnDemand, AIX based functions for OnDemand, and Monarch on global databases, including DB2 queries and updates, AIX support and monitoring.

              Proficiency with CA-View/Deliver, CA-WebViewer, and WebView.

              Proficiency with UNIX operations, SQL scripting, and JCL including batch utilities.

• Advanced applied expertise in Data Transmissions requires:

•             Basic Unix (Linux, AIX) and Windows (w2k16,w2k12,w2k8) systems knowledge

              Basic Mainframe knowledge.

              Basic knowledge of JCL.

              Knowledge of SFTP/SCP/SSH data keyless transmission.

              Understanding of Secure Sockets Layer SSL/TLS protocol.

              Knowledge of programming languages and concepts are a plus, e.g. COBOL, CLIST, REXX.

• Good oral and written communication skills to enable effective communication between peers, seniors and non-technical contacts.
• Professional, adaptable, and self-motivated with a focus on delivery.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and certification(s) in relevant technology disciplines.
