Global Business Services (GBS) is the heart of the AZ Finance function. We are accountable for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes which, combined with outstanding business analysis and insight, enables our customers to focus on AZ’s strategic priorities. Our remit covers record to report, procure to pay and order to cash, tax, planning & forecasting and management reporting, to customers across AZ Globally in Commercial, Science, Operations & Enabling Functions, Tax, Treasury and Group Finance. AstraZeneca’s Finance function is continuing its transformation journey with the objective of delivering excellence in financial operations.
The RPA Pipeline & Delivery Manager will support the delivery of Group wide automation solutions across the lifecycle. This will include Customer engagement, idea generation activity and the subsequent prioritisation, deep-dive assessments, planning and support of development and deployment tasks working alongside our Bot Configurator team. You should have extensive experience of leading-edge automation techniques & process analysis, coupled with accomplished stakeholder engagement skills!
Key Accountabilities
- Development and ownership of required documentation throughout the RPA lifecycle, ensuring approvals and regulatory standards are met
- Support strategic oversight and analysis of the pipeline, working collaboratively with IT and customer groups to manage expectations and select appropriate opportunities for next stage of lifecycle
- Work with business and technical specialists to develop the process automation design, ensure business inputs are secured as needed throughout the development lifecycle, owning more broad and complex processes
- Ensure change management activities are planned and delivered alongside the technical automation.
- Ownership of automation analytics to provide insights for improvements to Live bots, leading discussions with business partners to ensure benefits are in line with original business case
- Work together with the global RPA team to embed new agile ways of working, encouraging continuous improvement wherever possible
- You may have direct line management responsibilities or closely supporting the development the team
Essential requirements
- RPA & other automation implementation experience
- Excellent communication, partner management, and influencing skills
- Demonstrated experience of leading change and strong experience of developing and managing a team
- Strong analytical skills - able to discover and interpret business change requirements
- Experience of process change and/or technology implementation (RPA, Ariba, ERP etc)
- Have analysed and redesigned business processes using standard business process re-engineering techniques, e.g. swim lane diagrams, Lean, Six Sigma
- You are flexible for some domestic / international travel & working on flexible hours (as required)
- Additional language capabilities in Japanese will be an added advantage
