Responsibilities

a.) Understand and comply with all appropriate processes and procedures; CPCP, EEDP, etc.

b.) Propose processes as needed to ensure successful program delivery

c.) Contribute APAC related specification changes using the CR process

d.) Participate in formal supplier specification compliance review to ensure all requirements are clearly understood

e.) Establish clear list of supplier technical deliverables with appropriate timing and develop individual MS Project Work Plan to support overall project work plan

f.) Define product development schedule with supplier

g.) Participate in establishing and documenting clear supplier technical deliverables acceptance criteria

h.) Manage supplier's technical counterpart to ensure deliverables are high quality, delivered on time in accordance with Work Plan and delivered within budget

i.) Conduct radio / navigation system testing and verification of audio / telematics component

Deliverables

a.) Communicate R1 Radio specification to supplier to ensure they understand the requirements

b.) Lead a compliance matrix specification / requirements review with the supplier

c.) Establish an MS Project work plan with the supplier that supports overall program timing (update monthly)

d.) Manage the supplier to deliver a R1 Radio product that meets APAC requirements

e.) Develop validation test acceptance criteria and communicate it to the supplier

f.) Validate the final SW and HW with the supplier to ensure specification compliance was met.

g.) Lead development activities of China connectivity to meet leading vehicle launch timing.

h.) Weekly meeting with supplier to review program status. (weekly)

i.) Weekly project status report meeting to align progress and escalate issues to supervisor. (weekly)

Profile

In order to fulfil the role, we are looking for talented candidates with the following profile:

a.) Skilled in written English and fluent in spoken English

b.) MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) capability

c.) Ability to communicate and work well with others

d.) Advanced capability in MS Office and MS Project software

e.) Familiarization with DOORS or other specification development software

f.) Ability to clearly communicate technical specification and regulatory requirements to suppliers

g.) Understanding of general automotive technologies, including CAN/LIN, diagnostic, real-time operational system and vehicle E/E

h.) Understanding of automotive electronic product development process in the field of SW / HW / ME

i.) Skills in EBOM, issue tracking, change management and requirement management

j.) Expert in tuner, audio/video handling, BT/USB protocol, navigation and HMI design principles.

k.) Ability to work with cross-functional team of management and project managers (domestic and overseas) and take ownership and responsibility to get issues solved

l.) Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills

m.) BS or MS in Electrical or Automotive Engineering

n.) 3+ years of professional experience in digital / analog electronic product development

o.) Famous Tier 1 supplier work experience is a plus

p.) Logical, independent thinker

q.) Self-motivated

r.) Accountable; accepts responsibility
