Job Description
Specifically, we advise in relation on the following:
Acquisitions, dispositions and exchanges– Advising buyers and sellers of commercial property and land who benefit from our knowledge of local markets and advice beyond basic legal requirements
Real estate related mergers and acquisitions – Advising developers, investment banks and private equity investors in the formation of joint ventures for the development of real estate and for the acquisition of real estate
Major developments – Advising major developers, investors, owners and the government on significant property developments, from inception to completion, including due diligence and advising on any issues relating to planning, environment and valuation issues
Real estate financing– Advising lenders and borrowers on various financing transactions, negotiating loan portfolio sales, workouts, and loan syndications and participations
Asset management – Advising on the structuring, acquisition and disposal of the underlying assets in different investment vehicles
Mortgage-backed securities – Advising banks, rating agencies, sellers, issuers and underwriters on all aspects of commercial mortgage securitizations, including preparation of property-related security documents, such as debentures, mortgages, charges and rental assignments
Commercial leasing– Advising landlords and tenants in commercial and leasing activity
Public and private funds – Advising on the creation and operation of public and private funds investing in real estate worldwide
Real Estate Investment Trusts– Advising REIT managers, sponsors, underwriters, REIT trustees and cornerstone investors on structuring, establishing and listing REITs and similar investment vehicles
Tax– Advising on how to structure and plan transactions to minimize state, national and international tax exposure
Litigation and dispute resolution – Advising on complex litigation, including dissolutions, insolvencies, workouts, environmental matters, and construction disputes

Work experience and language requirements:
2 years' general experience in Commercial Leasing matters
Ability to handle matters independently
Strong communication skills in both spoken and written Chinese and English
A strong team player
